The Midlands Province is shrouded in sadness as Councillor Wilbert Rambanapasi, Chairman of Tongogara Rural District Council, mourns the untimely passing of his firstborn son, Wilson Rambanapasi. Wilson, a devoted father of two sons, tragically collapsed and passed away in Harare on Friday, leaving a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the community.

The news of Wilson’s passing has sent shockwaves throughout the province, with an outpouring of condolences from various stakeholders. ZANU-PF Tongogara and Midlands Province members have been quick to extend their heartfelt sympathies to Councillor Rambanapasi and his family during this difficult time. Fellow councillors from across the province have also been sending messages of condolence, highlighting the respect and admiration they have for Councillor Rambanapasi both as a leader and as a person.

In addition to the official condolences, many people from the province have taken to social media platforms such as Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and WhatsApp to express their sympathies to the Rambanapasi family. The outpouring of support on these platforms is a testament to the impact Councillor Rambanapasi has had on his community and the esteem in which he is held.

Councillor Wilbert Rambanapasi is widely regarded as a respected leader not only in his district of Tongogara but across the entire Midlands Province. His dedication to public service and his commitment to the development of his community have earned him a reputation as a tireless and compassionate leader.

As the province comes together to support the Rambanapasi family, we join in extending our deepest condolences to Councillor Wilbert Rambanapasi and his loved ones. Wilson’s burial is scheduled to take place this Sunday in Hungwere Village, Tongogara, Shurugwi, and it is expected that many will attend to pay their final respects to the departed.

May Wilson’s memory be cherished and celebrated, and may his family find strength and comfort during this challenging time. The loss of a loved one is never easy, but the Rambanapasi family can take solace in the knowledge that they are not alone in their grief, as the entire province stands in solidarity with them.
